Carnival It seemed like forever since I had a day off. It was so long that I didn't even know what to do with my time, so I just grabbed a book and headed to the lounge. It was pretty empty when I got there. I took the nearest seat and started reading. I heard someone else come in, but I didn't think much of it until I heard them call me "Allen." "Huh?' It was Lenalee! I don't know if it was just me, but she seemed cuter than usual, and very happy. It took a few seconds for me to realize I was being an idiot and didn't even greet her properly; all I said was "Huh?" "Huh?"? Who greets somebody with "Huh?"!? "O-oh, hi Lenalee." I tried to cover my small embarrassment with a smile. Man I must have looked stupid, but Lenalee was still smiling so I guess no harm done. She then said, "Hey, there's a carnival in a town close by, do you want to come with me later tonight?"
